Swiss Roll Trifle
Serves 10-12
2 packs Farm Boy™ Gingerbread Swiss Rolls, sliced ¼” thick
1 pack Farm Boy™ Ginger Cookie Chips, crumbled
3 cups whipping cream, divided
1 cup Farm Boy™ Sour Cream
1 cup Farm Boy™ Caramel Flavoured Dessert Syrup
1 tsp Farm Boy™ Organic Ground Cinnamon
¼ cup Farm Boy™ Organic Dried Cranberries
1. In mixer bowl, combine 1½ cups whipping cream and
sour cream. Whip until stiff peaks form.
2. In a separate bowl, combine remaining 1½ cups
whipping cream, caramel syrup and ground cinnamon.
Whip until stiff peaks form.
3. Line edges & bottom of trifle bowl with slices of Swiss rolls.
4. Spread 1/2 of the caramel cream, followed with 1/4 of
the cookie chips and another layer of Swiss rolls.
5. Spread 1/2 of the sour cream whipping cream. Top with
1/4 of the cookie chips and another layer of Swiss rolls.
6. Spread with 1/2 of the caramel cream, followed with
1/4 of the cookie chips and another layer of Swiss rolls.
7. Finish with a layer of the remaining whipping cream
and a sprinkling of the remaining cookie chips and
dried cranberries.
8. Chill for at least 6 hours, but best if overnight.
