ABOUT LONDON DRUGS COMPANY

It was 1945 when London Drugs store was founded and opened its first community drugstore in Vancouver. The company was named after London, England, the home of Canada’s King George VI. In the beginning, it was a small shop primarily selling pharmaceuticals, but later on, acquiring the camera store next door, they started selling cameras at a discount price, and soon after, they were known for selling quality photographic equipment at decent prices.

Today this proud Canadian retail store chain primarily sells pharmaceuticals, electronics, housewares, and cosmetics. They also partly sell food and toys. Across Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan, they operate 80 stores and employing 7000 staff members.
