Fish tacos with cabbage slaw
Ready in just 25 minutes, this meal makes dinner fun and interactive
by letting everyone assemble their own tacos.
Instructions
PREP 20 MIN | TOTAL 25 MIN | SERVES 4
1. Combine bouillon cube with lime juice in
a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave
Ingredients
on high for 20 seconds. Stir until blended.
1 Vegetable bouillon cube, crumbled
2 tbsp Fresh lime juice
2. Combine cabbage, carrot and green
2 cups Shredded red cabbage
onion in a medium bowl. Stir in 1 tbsp
bouillon mixture and mayo. Set aside.
1 Carrot, grated
1 Green onion, thinly sliced
3. Season fish with chili powder. Heat oil
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
454 g Cod, tilapia or another white fish fillet,
cut into bite-sized pieces
in a large non-stick frying pan over
medium-high. Cook fish, stirring
occasionally, until fish flakes with a
fork, about 4 minutes. Stir in remaining
bouillon mixture and garlic during last
1% tbsp Chili powder
SHOPPING TIP
1 tbsp Canola oil
Skip the slicing
and dicing with a
pre-shredded
30 seconds of cook time.
1 Garlic clove, minced
8 Small corn tortillas
coleslaw mix
4. Spoon fish into tortillas and top with
% cup Chopped cilantro
slaw. Garnish with cilantro and serve
1 Lime, cut into wedges
with lime wedges.
