Canadian supermarket Safeway, also known as Canada Safeway, is a retail chain with 183 grocery stores in Western Canada that was established in 1929 in Manitoba as a separate division from its southern neighbour and was sold to Sobeys in 2013.
In addition to a grocery store, Safeway also has 173 in-store pharmacies, 62 fuel stations, and 10 liquor stores.
